Two dialogues that will leave you feeling more hopeful.
Many of us feel frustrated, discouraged, or powerless about the direction our country is taking. We want to turn away. But what if the answer isn't to withdraw, but to participate?
In the first dialogue, we'll explore a provocative question: Are we being asked to live as Subjects, Consumers, or Citizens? Together, we'll examine these three roles, hear one another's perspectives, and discover which offers most agency and which is most compatible with mental and social health.
Participants will leave the first dialogue with one small action they can take to strengthen a neighborhood, a community, or our democracy—and a chance to reflect on that experience in the second dialogue.
Participants will receive a complimentary copy of Richard McKnight's new book, When We The People Lead, The Leaders Will Follow.
